Almost a year ago my very close friend, Lizzie, and her family suffered a huge loss: they lost their dad/husband. He was a truly amazing person and the more stories I hear about him the more I think it. He was devoted to his work as a doctor and helped many causes, one being DIABETES UK. This is why my friend and I are running the Junior Great North Run on the 15th of September to continue his great work.
