After recently losing my Nan, the most kind and wonderful person Ive ever known; I have decided to take part in the Great Manchester 10k Run for the Alzheimer's Society. My Nan was diagnosed with vascular dementia and I saw first hand the impact this had on her life and the people around her. For those that have witnessed their loved ones suffer from this, will know how truly heart breaking and upsetting it is. I would like to raise money to help support the Alzheimer's society to continue to provide support and care to people like my Nan
