It's about a year since my father in law, Tim, nearly lost his life to this terrible, indiscriminate disease.

Whilst he survived, it has taken so much from him and affected the lives of all those close to him. His wife, daughter, and grandchildren have all suffered at the hands of this evil disease.

I'm doing this run in the hope it can go some way towards helping others who have been touched by meningitis and meningoencephalitis, words which I hope anyone reading this will never need to know.
