Story
I am doing the London Triathlon this year. I hate swimming almost as much as I hate cycling, but I wanted to do something to challenge myself to raise money for ovarian cancer which took my wife Vicky from me in 2019. She was just 48.
Ovarian cancer is the UK’s deadliest gynaecological disease claiming the life of a woman every 2 hours, yet it hardly gets any attention.
It is shocking.
It is vital we develop new and better ways to treat ovarian cancer; the survival rates are the same as breast cancer was five decades ago!
Women deserve better than this.
Please give what you can, however small.
Thank you so much,
Alex
