Story

Alex will be running the BUPA Great Birmingham Run on behalf of the Birmingham Law Centre, an independent, not-for-profit, solicitor-led legal advice agency providing free legal advice in the areas of debt, welfare benefits, housing and employment. Agencies such as this fulfil an important role in providing legal services to the less fortunate and ultimately improving access to justice for all.

Because of the various austerity measures and cuts being made to the provision of legal aid, free advice agencies like the BLC are being put under severe pressure. The Centre needs all the help it can muster to support the provision of free legal services and to support social justice. Every £50 they raise helps us to provide at least an hour's legal advice at no charge to someone in desperately need so please give generously.
