Story

In 2022 a family member was diagnosed with Brain cancer along with another form of Cancer, so I wanted to do something to support the fight against the disease. I'm running for a great charity, Brain Research UK who are leading the way in neurological research.

I understand that it's a tough time for people in this economy so please only sponsor what you can afford, even if it's £1 it will mean the world. Thanks for your support and I will update my training on FB every month and show how I'm getting along, hopefully injury free x

A bit more info about Brain Research UK can be found here:

Brain Research UK is the UKs leading dedicated funder of neurological research. Put simply, we fund vital science in brain research to increase understanding, improve diagnosis and treatment, and work towards the prevention of neurological conditions, to help people who suffer with them live better longer. Our funding is currently focused on the 3 research areas of Brain tumours, Brain and spinal cord injury, and Headache and facial pain. These key areas are where there is a large unmet patient need that is not reflected by current funding. By concentrating our efforts on these three areas, we can have a more significant impact and progress scientific research to change lives.

The brain is the most complex organ in our body. It controls our emotions, senses and actions. So when it breaks down, we break down. We fund the best research to discover the causes, develop new treatments and improve the lives of those affected. Let’s unite to accelerate progress. Today.
