For those of you that aren't aware, I have been very lucky to get the opportunity to take part in this 500km, 4 day cycle from London to Paris to raise money for the fantastic charity Cure Leukaemia. 

As I'm taking the place of someone who has had to drop out, this is all a bit last minute, leaving me with just 3 weeks to get back on my bike (having not ridden for over 15 months) and get some training in!! 

This is a fantastic opportunity, it is something I've wanted to do since I started cycling a few years ago, and is a great physical challenge. However, the main reason for doing this is to raise money for Cure Leukaemia, to ensure the work they do is accelerated and they can continue to save lives. 

As I only have 3 weeks until the event, I have set a very enthusiastic target of £750.00 - half the amount that you would usually raise to take part in this event. I am confident that with your help we can achieve and even beat this target, and I would be very grateful for any donation you can make, big or small. Any amount really does help.
