Story
Call me crazy, but I enjoyed doing the London Memory Walk last September so much that I decided another trek was in order. But I'm not doing this by halves. Oh, no! This time, instead of 10 miles, I'll be walking 62 - all the way from London (starting at Kempton Park Race Course) to Brighton. Yes, that's right - 100k. In 30 hours. Without sleeping.
All this is in one of the best causes I know, and to remember one of the nicest, kindest people I've ever known - my dad, Bob Collis, who suddenly died in 2011 of a heart attack. What makes this even more special is that he was born in London, and his mum's family come from Brighton ... so thanks for digging deep and sponsoring me in my mission.
I've also managed to rope in my friend Amy to join me. We've been training hard, and are going to try our very best to fend off the blisters, aches and pains and sleep deprivation - and make you all proud of us.
Go, team Bob!!
