Over the course of his life he underwent a series of operations and therapies to battle the disease.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>In his late teens/early twenties Headway Yeovil provided him with invaluable support.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>Through the understanding and kindness of staff, and the companionship of fellow clients, Peter was helped immeasurably. </span></p> <p><span style="font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; color: black; font-size: 10pt;">Headway remained an important part of Peter&rsquo;s life up until the day that he died.&nbsp; Through Headway his days and weeks had a structure and a purpose. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp;</span>However, the amount of serious invasive surgery that Peter went though in his early childhood contributed to his increasing inability to cope with the daily demands of life.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; color: black; font-size: 10pt;">Peter sadly took his life in March, 2008.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; color: black; font-size: 10pt;">Peter was always optimistic and had a wry sense of humour&nbsp;- he is greatly missed.
