Story
On 4th March I’m walking 60km in 24 hours, in an event called Endurance60, in Buckinghamshire. Endurance60 is a 60 km endurance walk open to Explorer members of the Scout Association. Unfortunately, there are some hills there, which will make this more challenging! I have never done a walk of this scale before, so it is a daunting challenge, and I look forward to undertaking it with friends from my World Scout Jamboree Unit, who I will be going to South Korea with in July.
I am walking this in aid of the Samaritans, who have been in my school and very helpful to us, so it is an honour to raise funds for them. The Samaritans’ purpose, to be there for people who are struggling to cope and in times of crisis, is as vital as ever, particularly with high rates of teenage mental health issues. I hope to raise as much money as possible for them, and any donation is appreciated greatly. Thank you
