Story

Thank you for visiting my Walk to Beat Blood Cancer page, supporting Blood Cancer UK. We are here to beat blood cancer, which affects 40,000 people a year and is the UKs third biggest cancer killer. My dad has Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML) and Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL), the latter of which is a particularly rare leukaemia type. Because of Blood Cancer UK, their support allows him to have a brand new treatment which was only approved last year, which got him to initial remission. Your contribution will continue to fund life-saving research, give people information and support, and campaign for better health care.
