The Challenge!

Starting on the 21st August, a group of us from Jersey United Banks RFC -  Henry Goatcher, Alex Begg and James Marwick will be taking on the End 2 End cycling challenge from John O Groats to Lands End in association with the Wooden Spoon Society. The challenge itself involves each of us cycling up to 130 miles per day for 8 days on the trot down the entire length of the UK.

The society, partnered by the UK rugby community, aims to enhance the quality of life of disadvantaged children both locally in Jersey and throughout the UK, be it physically, mentally or socially using a variety of initiatives, more information can be found on its website;

Andy Barcis, a late withdrawal from our team following a shoulder injury is going to help us on our quest to raise the obligatory £2,500 per rider fundraising so whether it be a little or a lot please do whatever you can to help us, your support is hugely appreciated.
