Alex Basson Shaves his Barnet for Shooting Star Children’s Hospice/Little princess trust , 3 December 2021
We care for babies, children & young people to help make every moment count

Story

I have made the decision to shave my beloved hair in support the Shooting Star Children’s Hospice who care for babies, children and young people with life limiting conditions, and their families. Currently the hospice supports 700 families living across 15 boroughs of London and 11 districts of Surrey. It costs £8.8 million a year to maintain the current level of care.

After shaving my head, I will be donating the hair to the Little Princess Trust, who provide wigs free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment and other conditions.

I will be shaving my head on Saturday 3rd December

Any donations small or large will be massively appreciated, if you’re unable to donate please share.

Thanks to all x
