Story

Virtually all of us have been touched by cancer at some point in our lives but i have decided to raise money for this particular charity for my dear friend Anna Quickfall.

She is a young mother of two adorable kids who has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. She is currently undergoing treatment at the Royal Marsden and her courage in the face of the illness is inspirational.

So what I am actually doing that merits your sponsorship.......

The what:  Five friends riding from London to Paris over three days

The why:  For fun!  (And to raise money for great causes)

The route:  The ride splits the 500km distance into equal parts: Battersea to Dover/Calais, Calais to Amiens, Amiens to Le Tour Eiffel

The riders:  Alex Barry, Bart Rhodes, Dom Stoffel, Spencer Stratford

The support team:  Charlie and Bex Macfadyen - Special thanks to these guys who will drive the support vehicle.  Charlie was to be one of the riders but a broken ankle and wrist following a hit and run forced his retirement

Charities:  We are supporting various charities.  Please note that the whole ride is completely self-funded with the money pledged going to the charity rather than towards the cost of the ride
