Story
In April 2020 my son, Harris, was born in the peak of the corona virus epidemic in the UK. Our family is lucky that the epidemic hasn't massively affected us financially (at least so far) so, as Christmas approaches, I find myself thinking about those families and children who are struggling, at home and abroad.
This time last year my husband and I were in Bruges, whilst I was around 20 weeks pregnant. This year I've decided to walk the equivalent distance from Hull to Bruges, with Harris in tow, to raise money for Save The Children. This means walking 230 miles, from today until Christmas Eve.
This might not seem such a big feat, but walking long distances with a 7 month old baby is made even longer with several stops for nappy changes and feedings and, in wintry weather, this becomes more challenging!!
