Sandro's London to Amsterdam Cycle Challenge 2018

London to Amsterdam Cycle Challenge 2018 · 28 June 2018
As my family, friends & work colleagues will all tell you, I am always up for a challenge! More importantly I am always up for a challenge raising money for a fantastic charity, alongside fellow associates from St. James's Place.
London to Amsterdam in 3 days!!!!!
This time its an epic cycle ride (around 420km in 3 days) across Europe - from Olympic Park London, via beautiful Essex countryside, to Harwich and across to Holland. Exploring the amazing & spectacular Dutch cycle path network, taking in canalside riding and even a spectacular open crossing over the Markermeer, before the final ride into Amsterdam - hopefully a big celebration at the end of it (I think I will need it)!
This year the cycle ride will be supporting "The School of Hard Knocks" a social inclusion charity based in London, Cardiff & Glasgow. Founded in 2012 by Ken Cowen, they offer a number of different programs, each tailored to it's audience and principal aims - namely, tackling the issues around youth unemployment, crime & health. The constant factor is the charity's methodology - controlled confrontation, challenging activities & a constant affirmation of self-worth & motivation.
