Story

In loving memory of our beautiful husband and father and grandfather, Alekos, who passed away at Arrowe Park Hospital, Wirral, on 22nd January 2021 following a hard fought battle with Covid-19.

In lieu of the family receiving flowers we would like to ask for donations towards the ICU unit who took care of him during his final days.

The team of nurses and doctors devoted their time to ensuring he was comfortable and tried their best to keep him with us. Even though we could not visit regularly they kept in touch with daily updates and supported us through this awful time.

We want to give back to this incredible care team to ensure that they have what they need in order to fight this disease and hopefully save the lives of future patients.

Critical Care Fund - Charity Reg No. 1050469

The Critical Care fund supports the purchase of medical equipment and patent centred projects for both the Intensive Care Unit and High Dependency Unit.
