Aleia's Firewalk for Winston's Wish

Firewalk Challenge · 12 May 2012
Hello all you lovely people!
I hope you can all help me in achieving my target to raise £150.00 for Winston's Wish by 12/05/12.
Winston's Wish is a charity for bereaved children and young people. Their aim is to help wherever possible before, during, and after the loss of a parent or sibling by providing counselling and practical support to help young people cope with and understand the grieving process. Now in its 20th year, their range of services includes a national helpline for anyone caring for or concerned about a bereaved child. Every year this helpline supports around 3,500 families and professionals, benefiting an estimated 7,000 children.
I would be thrilled if you could all help me at least reach, and hopefully exceed my target by sponsoring me to do my first firewalk. I will be walking barefoot over hot coals, traditionally an act to display one's courage. Despite being the daughter of 'Thunderous Fireworks,' I have no kind of special bravery when it comes to things on fire, so this will be an interesting challenge for me!
The firewalk will take place on 12th May 2012 at Goodwood Motor Circuit in Chichester with a group of fellow fundraisers. I am hoping to get picture and video evidence of my walk to reward all your donations, but spectators are very welcome, so do feel free to come and watch with your very own eyes, the event starts at 9.15pm.
For those who haven't donated though JustGiving before, I can confirm it is simple, fast and totally secure. They won't sell on your details or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you in advance for your donations, no matter how big or small - truly, everything counts towards helping this charity make a difference in someone's life.
