I am planning to do something which may prove a little rash for an old man!

The local charity that I support is Porchlight. The is the main Kent charity trying to tackle homelessness - which is more of a problem even in Kent than you might think. Porchlight focus not just on running hostels to get people off the streets but also providing them with the support to get them back on their feet ... especially mental health support.

However, their funding from Kent Council is being cut which means they are under pressure to reduce their activities.

Anyway...

To support the cause I am planning to join a 'sleep-out' in Kent in
March - under the stars, or maybe covered with some cardboard.

And I would like to raise a lot of money for them.

So Please support as much as you can - I have pledged to match the total of money that is given in my name
