Story
On the 19th of July 2015 Steve and I are attempting The Mongol Rally for MIND. For those that aren't familiar with the challenge, it involves driving two-thirds the circumference of the world from London to Ulan-ude in Siberia. The best part? We have to do it in a 1 litre banger... so we need your help.
This isn't going to be easy. It's over 10,000 miles in a tiny car with no route, no maps, no GPS and no support crew.
So why not just stay at home, stick the kettle on and watch Rachel Riley on countdown?
Steve and I have both had involvement with the effects mental health illnesses can have on individuals and want to do something about it. It is something that can affect anyone at anytime and cripples lives, not just for the person who suffers from it but their loved ones as well. We feel this is something that is largely under represented in the UK and are keen to raise awareness as well as funds for MIND, who campaign to improve services and promote understanding.
This is a challenge like neither of us have ever attempted, and we will be relying entirely on our blagging skills and hopefully a bit of support from you and our awesome friends to get us to Siberia.
