Story

Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page.

Since the pandemic began in early 2020 we have had to cancel a large number of events and have been unable to be out and about talking to you about the work of the RNLI at our open days and street collections in and around Aldeburgh.

This is having a huge effect on donations which is why we are coming out to our friends, families and supporters virtually to ask for your help - we rely on donations from you the general public and without your support we wouldn't be able to continue saving lives at sea.

The covid-19 pandemic has brought a new risk to our volunteers that we never could have predicted or imagined but our brave and courageous crew members continue to risk their lives to save others.

We hope that you can support us by donating on our page - we look forward to seeing you soon, stay safe.

RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.
