Story
Hi, I'm Alcinda and I'm 23 years old.
Since I was little I always had a big dream of donating my hair and I always thought that one day my hair would belong to someone who needed it. Until the day when the sky got a very bright star, my grandfather passed away due to cancer (adenocarcinoma).. and from then on, a light turned on in me.. ❤
Instead of cutting my hair and going to the bin, this time it will go into someone else's hands.
There are thousands of people who lose their hair due to cancer and other diseases... why not give them this happiness of being able to have hair again?
I will cut my hair on October 4th and donate to the Little Princess Trust so they can make a wig for a child or young person who needs it. A wig takes around £550 to make. So I would like to raise as much as I can for them.
It will be on this day because it is my grandfather's birthday and I would like to be able to celebrate, making this gesture here ashore for the children.
(because most hairdressers are closed on Mondays I have to book my appointment for 5th October)
I hope my hair makes a wig for someone who can make her happy and fulfilled.
Thanks for reading and helping if you . Me and the Little Princess Trust will be very grateful.
