Story
As some of you may know, Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2022 and is still receiving treatment. In their many hours spent at Addenbrookes hospital, Mum and Dad have seen first-hand the support that Macmillan provides to cancer patients, whether it be comforting words, helpful suggestions, or practical freebies.
On 20 May 2023, Dad and I (without Mum as she will be recovering from surgery) will be taking part in a Mighty Hike along 26 miles of the picturesque Norfolk coastline to raise money for people living with cancer.
We have pledged to raise £500 between us for this great cause, and would appreciate any support in reaching this goal. This money could go towards funding a Macmillan Support Worker who could provide emotional, practical and financial advice to someone affected by cancer.
