Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Motor neurone disease (MND) is an uncommon condition that affects the brain and nerves. It causes weakness that gets worse over time. There's no cure for MND, but there are treatments to help reduce the impact it has on a person's daily life. Some people live with the condition for many years.
The disease has been recently highlighted much more in the media and to help in the fight against it, I have therefore decided to take part in the 2023 Glasgow Kilt Walk on Sunday 30th April 2023 to help raise funds for the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation.
The Foundation is committed to helping improve the lives of those affected by Motor Neuron Disease by helping to fund grants, giving considerable sums to their friends at MND Association and MND Scotland to administer to individuals and families living with MND.
Any kind donations towards this would be very much appreciated.
Thank you.
