Gini and Alastair Scott are running in the BUPA Manchester 10 k run  on May 18th - raising money for the Parkinson's Disease Society.

Well Gini will be running and I will be ambling along somewhere behind her. Last year I managed to run most of the way - let's give it a go!

HI everybody

Well, here we are with the begging bowl again for the Parkinson's Disease Society- the reason for it this time is that Gini and I are participating in the  Manchester 10k run on the`18th May.

The money we  will  raise will go to the Parkinson's Disease Society and will help them provide a wide range of services and support including Parkinsons's Disease Specialist Nurses and invaluable non medical support workers (known as PD Society Community Support Workers. ( Parkinson's CSW.'s). In addition the Society funds essential research and acts as a voice for the 120,000+ people with Parkinson's in the UK.

 Many of you have been very generous in the past ie  the Corsica trek (2006), last year's Manchester 10k run and Andew and Gini's Ecuador trek last November- Thank you for your donations
