Story
To benefit the Teenage Cancer Trust, I'm attempting the 3,000 Push Ups in November challenge, which entails performing 100 pushups every day on average!
Seven young people in the UK, ages 13 to 24, receive the heartbreaking news that they have cancer every day. The Teenage Cancer Trust is the only organisation in the UK committed to giving young people with cancer the professional nursing care and support they require to overcome it.
Since my younger brother was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a kind of bone cancer, last October, this cause holds special meaning for me. He recently completed his entire course of treatment, and Teenage Cancer Trust was a huge source of support for him throughout the most trying times. In addition to helping him with his treatment, their care improved his relationships, education, and emotional well-being. I witnessed first hand how important their work is.
By supporting this, you’re helping ensure that more young people receive the care and support they need when facing cancer. Any donation's are greatly appreciated.
