Sachin Shah is Head Boy of Wallington County Grammar School. I've had the privilege of teaching Sachin since he was 11 years old and I can honestly say he is one of the most talented, kind-hearted and caring young people I have worked with in my teaching career. In February this year, Sachin was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and is now undergoing treatment. Several charities, including CLIC Sargent, are doing a wonderful job of looking after Sachin and his family, hence I decided to try to raise some money in support of the amazing work they do. 

My challenge:  I'm aiming to run 1000km over the next 100 days. That's 10km per day, every day, and equates to 23.7 marathons! I'm no endurance athlete so this is going to be tough but, if I can harness just a little bit of Sachin's determination and spirit, I know I'll be successful.
