ONE LAST MARATHON........After last years Edinburgh marathon I had planned on taking a break from fundraising/marathons. That was until I fortunately got given the opportunity to run the London marathon on 26th April 2020. I am continuing to raise funds in memory of dad to support chest heart and stroke Scotland who supported my dad and our family throughout his illness. My fundraising target is 1,800. Everyone has been extremely supportive over the last few years helping me raise over 9,000 pounds. One last push will take the fundraising total to over the 10k and continue to support this amazing charity.
Any support towards my fundraising in memory of a truly amazing man is greatly appreciated every penny counts. A couple of pound (price of a coffee) could go a long way to support this with chest, heart and stroke conditions.
Everyday in Scotland 25 people will have a Stroke.
Funds raised will help support those impacted and their families.
Chest heart and stroke Scotland have recently launched there vision ‘No life half Lived’ so that everyone in Scotland affected by chest, heart and stroke conditions get the support and care they need when and where they need it.
