Story
This weekend, me and my fellow students were due to go to LIV Lanseria. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, we are unable to go, so instead, we are going to travel the equivalent distance from Calday to LIV Lanseria on foot or by bike. As part of this, I will be cycling the entire length of the Wirral Circular Trail this weekend with members of my family, a total length of 37 miles (60km).
LIV Lanseria is transforming the lives of individual children and working with members of the local community. Typically they feed 3000 children daily, constructively keeping them busy outside of school and also creating a safe environment for the orphaned and vulnerable children in their care. This July will be the first time, since 2006 that a group from the Wirral has not been to South Africa to work, and play with the children who live there. To show that we care and to raise much needed funds, as Covid-19 has brought increased financial pressures, I have joined the team who are travelling the distance on foot!Money raised ensures workers are paid, bills are covered, children are housed and fed, and guarantee that we can offer opportunities to children and adults who could not, otherwise, afford these life-changing services. These funds will also pay for care packages for the many households struggling under lockdown. Please sponsor me to support this amazing charity!
