Event: Rotary Forum Battle of Watling Street Cycle Ride, from 10 May 2013 to 20 May 2013

Story

In a moment of madness 18 Rotarians, myself  and friends have decided to cycle 360 miles from Caernarfon Castle and Anglesey at the North West corner of Wales to Colchester. A new angle on Coast to Coast linking two major Roman Towns via the Roman Roads of Watling Street and Stane Street (Battle of Watling Street).

We are looking to raise funds to finally eradicate of Polio worldwide. There are over a million Rotarians and over the past 20 years we have reached a stage where in many countries Polio has been eradicated.  Working with UNICEF and more recently major matching sponsorship from Bill Gates we would like to do our bit to finish this forever.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.

So please dig deep and donate now.
