We raise funds for The National Hospital to improve the lives of neurology patients

Story

Alan’s friends have decided to get together and organise a big party for what would have been his 30th birthday.

We are combining this event with a fundraiser to raise funds for 'The National Brain Appeal', a charity chosen by Alan’s family which is the charity dedicated to raising much needed funds for The National Hospital of Neurology and Neurosurgery in Queen Square London. The National Hospital is one of the world’s leading centres for the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients with a wide range of neurological and neuromuscular conditions including multiple sclerosis (MS), brain cancer, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, Prion disease and head injury.

Entrance to the event will be by a 'suggested' £5 donation to the charity, and the evening will host live music as well as a DJ, a large raffle with some great prizes up for grabs along with a couple of games to be played by all.

The bar is open until midnight and some light snacks will be provided but please eat before you arrive as numbers are uncertain and therefore making it difficult to plan food, in addition to us trying to raise as much money as possible...

Smart/casual dress, your wallets/purses and a positive party attitude are all you need bring!

Please confirm your attendance on the event page www.facebook.com/events/252377338185807. If we exceed the capacity of the hall then it might be a good idea to pray for good weather too so we can use outside!

About the charity

There are 14.7million people – that’s more than one in six – in the UK living with a neurological condition. Here at the country's leading neurological centre, we’re passionate about supporting the hospital to help improve the lives of patients through treatment and research.
