In 2018 close to 300 runners will take on the world famous London Marathon to raise funds and awareness for the MS Society. This is their team page.

Story

I'm running my first marathon, in London in April 2018... I approach this challenge with a mixture of excitement and trepidation, and I'm really glad to have the extra incentive of raising money for the MS Society.

My best mate was diagnosed with MS in his early 40s, and so I have had some insight into what impact it has on people's lives, and how organisations like the MS Society provide vital help and support.

So here goes... I've been running intermittently for a few years: I did my first half marathon in 2016, but I've only averaged about 9 miles per week over the last two years. The training plan I'll follow has a minimum of 25 miles per week, and peaks at over 40.... in winter! This is currently quite scary.

Anyway, your donations are very welcome, and will be highly motivational. Cheers!
