Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 4th and 5th of November I and a few friends linked to the Birmingham Insurance Institute council are cycling from Birmingham to London.

As beginners in the cycling world this will be challenging for us, especially given the spare tyre that many seem able to comment on!

We are doing this for a very worthy charity, the Birmingham Children's Hospital. We hope to raise as much money as possible in order to smash our team's target of £4,000.

All the money will be going to the hospitals Respiratory Ward, for more information on the brilliant work they do, visit www.bch.org.uk. Please donate generously and make life a little bit better for the Children of Birmingham and the UK.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
