I have been asked about the above photo a number of times.  It is of Bristol's first ever police dog - 'Kylow''  who was recruited in 1955. In 1960 both Kylow and his handler left the UK and joined the Qatar police force.  The PC was permitted to resign but Qatar had to pay 250 Guineas for Kylow.  (That is approx. £75,000.00 in todays money)
