Story
8 months ago, anyone looking at me would realise I wasn't exactly in any shape to be thinking of running a 10K, 10 meters would have been about right. However, after several hours in the gym, and several hours pounding the streets of Kilmarnock (initially it really was pounding!), 4 stones later, I'm ready to take the challenge.
Why?
Easy, as a parent you'd do anything for your child, so all the early starts and physical pain through training, walking a diabetic blood/sugar tight-rope 24/7, and avoidance of any food-stuffs I used to enjoy as part of my diet; blast into insignificance as I focus on this one small thing that could help make a little difference for Kyle, and everyone Scottish Autism supports across their network.
