In may 2019 after spells in 2 hospitals over 7 1/2 weeks, we were given the devastating news that our son , Oliver , had Infantile krabbe (Krab-bay) disease. As a result we were also told that there would be a high chance he wouldn’t live past his 2nd birthday. Sadly Oliver lost his fight with this terrible disease on the 1st October 2019, 3 weeks before his 1st birthday. During the time where he was poorly and after he passed away we were involved with a few charities that helped us as a family along the way. One of those charities was Momentum childrens charity. To this day they have kindly help us with restbite weekends in their lodges and caravans to spend time as a family and remember Oliver. 

In October i am going to try 'Stoptober' with no alcohol to raise money for momentum so they can continue to support families like us through difficult times they might have to go through with children who might have life changing or limiting conditions. 

I know times are tough now but every little helps.
