Fundraising for Sepsis Research FEAT
I loved running as a boy. I have a very happy memory of completing the "I ran the world" 10k back in c1986. I even got a wee t-shirt, which really was wee - I was a tiny child.
I have not done any serious distance running as an adult. My last was the Glasgow half-marathon back in 2007. Then, I got called up at short notice and my training was running on the Wednesday before the race to the Erskine Bridge and back - when I lived in Erskine.
That was a very sore experience. And slow.
I've taken this race much more seriously. I have been training hard since May and discovered I still love running.
I thought it would be nice to raise some money for FEAT along the way. What is FEAT? Well, it's a charity very close to my heart set up to fight Sepsis - a very deadly but little heard of disease that kills more people than lung, breast or bowel cancer. To find out more, try this link:

All donations, no matter how small, are much appreciated. Together we can Sock it to Sepsis!
