Story
As a lifetime Scottish rugby tragic, the “mad giraffe” Doddie Weir was an absolute inspiration to me. His strength of character and determination showed through on the field and off, with the incredible work he has done over the years to help find a cure for motor neurone disease, which his legacy will continue.
To support - I’ve organised a few initiatives here in Sydney, Australia:
- 🏴🏴🏉💪🥵 England v Scotland Gym Punishment! - ahead of England v Scotland 6 Nations rugby clash, Sydney personal trainer Chris Morgan, who happens to be a rugby mad Englishman, will put me through a punishing and no doubt humiliating session! (3rd Feb, eve of the Calcutta Cup) - DONE OUCH ✅ - https://www.linkedin.com/in/chris-morgan-778176243
- 🏴🩲🏊♀️ Burns Day Scottish Ocean Swim with piper - 25th Jan with regular swim group Bold & The Beautiful (Done - posted short vid on DoddieAid FB page including kind message of support from ex-Scotland Captain and DoddyAid founder, Doddie’s good friend Rob Wainwright) ✅ - https://www.pipersofdistinction.com
- 🚴♀️🥵 More Spin Than You can shake a stick at ... Upping my regular exercise with crazy 30m Apple Fitness+ cycling workouts from the most insanely energetic trainer on the planet, Tyrell Desean (ongoing to 11th) ✅ - https://instagram.com/tyrelldesean
I've also linked my Strava to JustGiving to update progress for my supporters, including some pics of the beautiful regular dawn swim in Manly.
Please sponsor me - I really appreciate your support to find a cure for motor neurone disease in Doddie’s memory ❤️🏴🇦🇺
