I said that the 2019 London Marathon was my first and last Marathon........I was wrong!! 

This year, I have seen my own community blighted by drug dealing, firearms discharges and organised crime, worse than I have ever known.  To add to this there is the constant threat of Serious acquisitive crime and anti-social behaviour.

As a Police Officer of 15 years service, professionally I have invested a huge amount of my time to make my community safer.  I am acutely aware however that some people within the community do not have the power to speak up and stop crime due to fear of reprisals.  This veil of silence leads to increased crime and a break down of local communities.

CrimeStoppers are an independent charity I work with daily in order to ensure that everyone can speak up and stop crime - 100% anonymously. 

Without the invaluable service that CrimeStoppers offer, communities will continue to break down owing to the fear of speaking out and we will all suffer as a result of this.

My fundraising target is £1750 however I hope to raise well over this amount by the time of the race!  I will be joining 2 of my colleagues on my way around London this time both of them are also running for charity, if I can keep up with them both!!!
