On Sunday 19th September 2010 I will be taking part in the 'Great North Run' which is the World's biggest half marathon with 54,000 runners taking part this year.

Its 5 years since I last took part in this in this magnificent event; however I was a lot lighter and a bit fitter. Nevertheless I have decided to take to the streets once again in support of my chosen charity Cancer Research UK.

I am trying to raise £500.00 for Cancer Research UK who is the World’s leading charity dedicated to beating Cancer. Too many lives are still devastated by Cancer, and it is vital that their work (funded entirely by the public) continues.
