Story
Sam and I are taking part in a number of events this year to raise money for Rennie Grove Hospice Care.
The charity needs £6.5 million a year to provide day hospice and hospice at home care for people with life limiting illness living in our local area.
It costs roughly £150 for a hospice at home shift so if we reach our target, it will cover 5 days nursing.
We started by both taking part in the Mayor's Sprint Triathlon on May 11th (couple of photos attached) and a massive thank you to everyone who sponsored us. I edged Sam in the cycling and the swim but didnt stand a chance in the run as he romped home well ahead of me!
I will be doing the Herts Cycle Challenge on July 4th, a 50 mile tour of the Hertfordshire countryside and the Mucky Mudder in November. While Sam is too young to compete in these other two events, he will help by marshalling instead.
Please help us by sponsoring us!
Many Thanks!
