Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For those that don't know me I am an ex Royal Artillery Physical Training Instructor. I spent 9 happy years in the Gunners and ended my military service training new recruits at our training depot in Woolwich.

Since leaving The Army I have had many jobs and as a result, not trained properly for several years. I needed a challenge. But what? It had to be something close to my heart which would give me the motivation I needed to get started.

Even though during my time in the military I have run more miles than Forest Gump, I had never actually taken part in a half marathon....... until last year when I did The Great North Run to raise money for the Royal British Legion. I enjoyed it so much that I’ve now challenged myself again and signed up with Ultra White Collar Boxing to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Hopefully I’ll come out of the ring victorious and still have all my teeth.
