Story
I will be running my 13th London Marathon in April and being highly superstitious decided I needed the added incentive of knowing that I was raising money for a good cause.
Race Against Dementia are a charity very close to my family’s heart as our father passed away in 2019 with Sub Cortical Vascular Dementia. A horrible disease that completely devastated the life of our dad who previously was so fit, healthy and full of life.
Our family do not wish others to go through the pain and anguish caused by Dementia and so the sooner a cure for this disease is found the better.
Please give what you can as the pain of running a marathon is nothing compared to the pain of seeing a loved one go through this cruel disease.
