The simple fact is; I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Christies Hospital. Between March 2011 and March 2013, I received 18 months of chemotherapy, one month of radiotherapy and a stem cell transplant. Thanks to their amazing care and support, I'm nearly 2 years into remission for Hodgkins Lymphoma.

I will never be able to repay them for saving my life, but that  doesn't mean I can't try to do this. In August (17 months on from when I completed my treatment)  I will be taking on the Yorkshire Tough Mudder which is described as "a hardcore 12 mile-long obstacle courses designed by the Special Forces to test your all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie."
