Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I really appreciate everyone's support, Cancer is one of the biggest diseases in our generation and if you have ever been affected by it either directly or indirectly i'm sure you'll be aware of the fantastic work carried out by the people at the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.
When the original proposition was made to raise Money for Douglas Macmillan Hospice we couldn't have conceived how much the charity would be supporting members of our team, 2 of the team have needed to call upon the kind work at The Hospice during our fundraising efforts and have sadly lost people close to them in the process, this has more than ignited a desire to help the charity help more people in similar situations.
My aim is to raise as much money as possible to help contribute to the teams goal of £30,000 - the money required to run the Hospice for a single day
Myself and a team of 18 Riders will be Cycling from Lands End to John 'o' Groats over the course of 9 days each averaging over 100 miles per day. We also have support from drivers who have kindly donated time to take care of us and our kit on the way.
Please take the time to visit the Team Page and see all the Riders or visit our Website at http://www.lejog2015.com/home.html
Any Donations are gratefully received please give as much as you can to support me in my challenge, in doing so your donation will support people and their families in their darkest days affected by Cancer and other life limiting ilnesses in our local area.
Myself and the Team are self funding all travel and accomodation costs meaning 100% of the donation you give will go directly to Douglas Macmillan Hospice.
Commercial funding is welcomed and we will do as much as possible to promote generous businesses willing to support myself the rest of the LeJog 2015 Team (Monetary or otherwise). Please leave a message if you wish to get involved or have a proposition you'd like to discuss.
Thank You
Alan and the rest of the LeJog 2015 team.
