Story
RNLI have nearly 5000 volunteers, and I am going to cycle around 5000 miles, and I want to raise £10,000.
There are around 200 RNLI Lifeboat Stations, and so far -
194 RNLI stations visited
7,221km (4,487 miles) cycled
68,276m climbed (that's 42 miles up)
Thanks to my fellow riders for your support and friendship all around the Great British coast. There is no way I could have done it without your help.
It has been an honour to show the amazing people associated with the RNLI that we don't take them for granted. The love and kindness I have received everywhere has been humbling - people really do care about your contribution to humanity.
If you want to cycle, but don't feel confident, or don't know how to find safe, quiet routes, please contact me, I will be glad to help - alan@cycle4fun.co.uk

The RNLI are 95% volunteers who are prepared to risk their lives for complete strangers, whenever they are called to do so. They keep us safe in our waters.
How your support helps
£17 will buy two red and yellow flags to keep people safe on the beach.
£45 will buy a pair of yellow wellies to keep our lifeboat crew safe and steady.
£198 will buy a helmet to protect our crew from the worst conditions the sea can throw at them.
Once you donate, Just Giving will send your money directly to the RNLI. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
