We fund research into prostate cancer to create better outcomes for patients.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Especially you Guys who are about the same age as me (39 ish or older  ).  Across the UK

  • Prostate Cancer is the most common cancer in men
  • One in Eight men will get Prostate Cancer
  • It is estimated that by 2030, Prostate Cancer will be the most common cancer
  • Two out of three adults don't know what the prostate gland does
Prostate Cancer Research is making inroads into finding out causes and treatments.  If you would like to donate then many thanks.  If you are unable to donate then please consider being tested or else tell someone you know to do so. It's not difficult and doesn't take much time but could be very worthwhile.

I will be part of a team which will walk up 3 Welsh Peaks (Pen y Fan, Cadair Idris and Snowdon) on 17&18th May 2014.  Our team is walking in honour of our dear friend and colleague Jim Hannon.
