Apologies its Blakey again !!. Last year I raised funds for a national charity that helps every premature baby in their early years. Your support was fantastic.

This year I am riding the Dartmoor Classic Grande 100 miles over the country's hilliest route, plus hopefully Ride London plus definitely 2 marathons in 1 day on ski's. My legs will ache but nothing compared to Elsie.

This year our needs are closer to home. We are blessed with 5 fantastic grand daughters, 4 of whom were very premature. Our youngest Elsie has Cerebral Palsy and cannot walk as a result. BUT our fantastic NHS have offered a lifeline for the future with SDR surgery that could make all the difference. Heartbreakingly they do not fund this surgery but can perform the operation and aftercare in the UK. 

Elsie was with us yesterday, she rarely wants help. Her favourite phrase is " I can do it pop ". We played skittles, she crawls to retrieve the ball and play, I tried it myself!!!!!!!! Hard work to say the least. She is so tough it is humbling. She wants to do everything other children do, play football, run, jump, swim, you name it. Your help could transform her life in the future..
