February 2018 marked 6 years since we lost my brother Mike to Motor Neurone Disease. In the UK and Ireland, every year 2000 families will hear the news that Mike got when he was just 43 years old. 

• There is no cure 
• There is no effective treatment
• Average life expectancy from diagnosis is just 14 months. 

We all still miss him terribly and remember him fondly. It was Mike's wish that money raised should go to research to find a cure, so all money raised here will benefit everyone diagnosed. 

I hope that by helping to fund ongoing research, one day a cure will be found so that in future, other families can be spared the horror that a diagnosis of MND brings today.
