Story
On the 10th of October 2020, I and fellow Hong Kongers are planning to hike the entire 50km Hong Kong Trail in aid of the MY NAME'5 DODDIE FOUNDATION.
The foundation funds research and raises awareness of Motor Neurone Disease. This aim has recently become much more poignant to me having lost one of my closest friends to the disease on the 2nd May. Graham was a friend of mine since school and that friendship lasted up until his last day, despite us spending many a year on the opposite sides of the earth. Graham also established his own charity, the St Andrews Legacy, in 2013. This was set up to use the “magic of St Andrews” and the game of golf to motivate and inspire ill and injured veterans to improve health, well-being and stability. A fitting obituary was recently published in the Dundee Courier.
I hope you are able to contribute as much as you can to funding the necessary research and ultimately finding a cure for this devastating disease.
